One of the major events in the field of higher education — the “Central Asia – European Union Universities Congress” — is being held in Samarkand. The ISFT Institute delegation is actively participating in this prestigious international forum.

The congress has brought together ministers from Central Asia and European Union member states, representatives of international organizations, and leaders of more than 300 higher education institutions. In particular, 45 leading European universities and top regional institutions are exchanging experience.

At the opening ceremony, the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Kongratbay Sharipov, EU Ambassador Toivo Klaar, as well as the Ministers of Education of Poland and Tajikistan delivered speeches and put forward important initiatives aimed at elevating educational cooperation to a strategic level.

Representing ISFT, the Head of the International Cooperation Department, A. Alisherov, is participating in the congress.

Within the framework of the congress, the ISFT delegation is conducting negotiations in the following areas:
— expanding academic exchange programs with universities in Poland, Germany, and other EU countries;
— implementing modern teaching methodologies based on European standards;
— ensuring the participation of ISFT faculty members in international research projects and grants.

Participation in such global-scale events demonstrates the growing reputation of ISFT in the international educational arena.
